Biblical Manhood: Part 2 - The Original Plan

Where better to start our search than "in the beginning". Most of these scriptures are pointed out in reference to Voddie Baucham "Speaking on Manhood" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx86u7o1k-Q) and to Dr. Tony Evans "Returning to Biblical Manhood" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt3BAZrvheA)

Scriptures that give man a purpose or command.

Gen 2:7 God creates the first man.

Gen 1:26-28 Man is created to "bear" God's image, not simply visually, but characteristically. God told man to have dominion and subdue the earth, to be fruitful and multiply.

Gen 2:7-8, 15 God made man (male) first, then put him in the garden to work. Yet, the work in the garden would be easy.

Gen 2:16-17 God gives man one rule to obey, so that he could stay alive.

Gen 2:18 God, for the first time in creating, says it is not good, because man was alone.

Gen 2:19-20 God brings creatures to man for him to name them (dominion).

Gen 2:21-22 God makes woman from man.

Gen 2:23 Man names woman, identifies her as part of himself, a true equal and perfect partner.

Gen 2:24 God ordained marriage, man's new earthly priority is his wife and family.

What is man's primary "order of operation" from the day he was created?

What was man's "earthly" mission at this time of the text?
